Noelton (Noel Place): A Huge Chunk of Original Green Hills
Was at current 3401 Granny White Pike (former Middle Franklin Pike) Nashville, TN Circa early 1850s. Noelton, likely built in the early 1850s by George Michael Deaderick Cantrell (1807-1886) and Clalra Wlaker Cantrell (1824-1891)(m.1849). The mansion was on Granny White Pike and for years served as the southern border of the city of Nashville. The Cantrells enlarged their estate off the Middle Franklin Pike (Granny White Pike), and by the start of the Civil War, it had grown
